Is Levi's 702XX difficult to match with a jacket?

Levi's 702XX has an image that I could buy it cheaply at Yahoo Auction etc. before. The 702XX I got for the first time was also Yahoo Auction, about 10 years ago. At that time, I was still collecting vintage reprint jeans, and I remember being impressed by the good discoloration of the 702XX I got for the first time, and I often wore it.

When I think of 702XX, I can think of the limited edition s702 series, but at that time I was crazy about replica jeans. I became interested in replica jeans only after the replica jeans boom had passed, so I later learned that there were s702 series jeans. Then, I got the 10s type and 20s type of the s702 series, but for some reason I didn't wear this series as my own jeans.

Difficult to match?

When I first got the 702XX, I often wore it, but I feel like I had a hard time matching it with my jacket. The silhouette of the 702XX is like 30s work pants with thick peaches and a sharp taper, so the 503B without the taper was easier to match my jacket with my body shape.

This is easy to understand if you try to match it with the same denim jacket, and in the case of 702XX it is not good and if it is 503B it is reasonably good. Well, this is because each person has their own body shape, so some people may say that the 702XX is more comfortable. In any case, it may be unexpectedly difficult to wear jeans with a denim jacket, but when you decide on jeans and a denim jacket, you can get high tension.

This is the 702XX I got in Dead.

It was made in Japan in 2005 and was dead with a flasher.

The fabric was a wash type.

There is a slight change in the fabric over time.

Although it is not noticeable, there was some fading on the side and discoloration on the back crease of the fabric.

W36 Levi's 702XX

This is a used 702XX.

There was a slight feeling of use such as atari near the back of the hem, but overall it was dark blue and there was no particular problem.

Actual size (measured in a flat position)

Notation size W36 L36

Waist approx. 46 cm (measured by aligning the front and back of the waistband)

Crotch bottom about 92.5 cm

Crotch top about 33.5 cm

Hem width about 22.5 cm

Watari about 31 cm (measured 10 cm from the inseam)

Selvedge and original chain stitch

There was a rough part at the end of sewing, and the stitch was a little loose, so I reinforced it by hand sewing.

Previously, the 702XX was available at a relatively low price even if it was dead, but recently it has been traded at a high price because it is in good size and condition. However, I think it is still possible to find cheap items in good size and condition at second-hand clothing stores and thrift shops.
