Original Levi's 501A type gets big size
So far, there are about three original models that I have obtained, commonly known as the type.
Under such circumstances, we would like to introduce the 501A type, which was in good condition.
Original 501 A type
Since the waist is chain stitched, it seems to be a late model of A type.
The vintage jeans were in good condition overall and had a waist size of 44 inches.
I've already sold it at Yahoo Auction, but now that I think about it, I think it's okay to keep it for reference.
Actual size (measured in a flat position)
Notation size is W44 L32
Waist approx. 106 cm (measured by aligning the front and back of the waistband, horizontal measurement x 2)
Waist approx. 107.5 cm (inner circumference)
Crotch top about 36.5 cm
Hem width about 24.5 cm
Crotch bottom about 76.5 cm
Watari about 35 cm (measured 10 cm from the inseam)
Total length about 109 cm
As for the condition, there were wrinkles due to storage and atari that seemed to be slightly discolored at the hem, but overall it was like a super dark blue one wash.
In addition, the sewing near the side of the bottom button was a little rough, the patch was hardened, the metal part was deteriorated, and the back side of the fabric had an oxidized texture.
As for the specifications, it was like button back 4, red tab double-sided BIGE, coin pocket back ear, waist chain stitch, foot length R, etc.
Red tab
The red tab is double-sided BIGE. It seems that the atmosphere will improve as you use it from now on.
back
There are 7 belt loops in total.
front
Since the waist is chain stitch, the front is parallel stitching instead of V stitching. There are 6 front buttons in total including the top.
Selvedge and chain stitch
Atmospherically, it seems to be the original chain stitch.
Sewn hem
The atmosphere of Uneune is good. There is some fading like Atari, but it seems that there is no problem at all at this level.
